The smallest piece in the series so far and one of the most detailed. Carved branches reach down from a collar of tiny flowers, the relief shifting between two languages — the precision of the branching below, the softness of the blooms above — united by a matte clear glaze that deepens to sage green in the carved recesses. It is the kind of piece that surprises up close.

Built entirely by hand in porcelain, the branching carved and the floral relief applied individually before firing. Though small in scale, it makes a striking statement, whether filled with a modest bouquet or displayed on its own.
