From the Artist
This painting is part of a series of floral studies on paper. I admired the sensitivity and immediacy of these works so much that I carefully mounted a selection of my favorites on sturdy boards, giving them a permanence and presence beyond the study stage. These pieces remind me of the beauty found in exploration and the unexpected moments that emerge in the studio.
