Bleached at the rim, the glaze warms toward gold at the center — not metallic, but crystalline, the way sunlight reads through shallow water onto a sandy bottom. Flecks of blue surface through the white like something seen just below the surface, intentional and unhurried. The form is wide and low, the openwork branches reaching outward like coral exposed at low tide. It is the most luminous piece in the series.

Hand-built from stoneware, each opening cut and shaped individually before firing. The crystal-shimmer glaze and blue inclusions develop through the kiln — layered, not painted on. No two pieces from this series are identical.
